Happy Birthday to Me

Chocolate mousse birthday cake and coffee - oh my!

Yup, today is Poggie's birthday. Somewhat overshadowed but a lovely day nonetheless and made even more so by being able to cuddle the Roo at will. At the moment he's on his sheepy basking in an evening sunbeam while his Mama naps in the other room - bliss!

Getting some natural light therapy and looking like a washed up deckhand...

Marty did his best to play nice for my birthday, sleeping really well last night and only waking up to feed (and not scream). He started to kick into the scream cycle early in the evening, but we decided to take a shot at swaddling him tight and laying him in the crib and it worked like a charm! Mind you, that doesn't mean it'll work tonight but one night of good sleep blocks was wonderful.

Ok, now for some more pics to keep y'all happy. Again, thanks for all the comments, we love hearing from you!!

Such trusting little hands

Mr big eyes!

The cake looks yum and I bet it was. You have wonderful friends.

So happy Marty has been good and how nice to wear some of those clothes in his enormous wardrobe. Your so good to your beloved to allow her some extra sleep.

More good results for Tuesday please. Have you noticed how many milestones have happened on Tuesday?

Hugs

Mum

Jeannie is right. He is a nice baby. But he has such nice parents so it's hardly surprising!

Happy Birthday!
And finally, a picture of Mr. Roo with his eyes open!
Have I mentioned how adorable he is?

By the way, you let me know when that is getting on your nerves...

Happy birthday Jac! Sorry I haven't written earlier (I'm rather afraid of these public blog thingys) but don't worry - I have been following the updates closely. Decided to bite the bullet so as to let you and Jo know how incredibly excited we are about Marty's arrival. And we're delighted that he's on the up and up and no longer needs the wallaby. Sheepy is much better. He is just so gorgeous - he almost makes me clucky again... Almost... Give Jo a really big kiss from me and let her know that Marty looks like "he's in a good paddock" (as my great aunt once said to me). Apparently, being referred to as a cow in this way is a compliment!! Can you please email me your postal address? I can't find it!! Lots of love from Jane, Duncan and Clancy xxx

Glad to hear you had a good day. The boy looks gorgeous. I suspect we are all running out of superlatives.

Olve the photo with his eyes open, His hair reminds me sooo much of Andrea's at the same age. Love his outfits too, looks lovely and cool. Hope the billi levels keep falling. GA Kate. xxxxx

One day I'll get the hang of modern technology. I think one of my posts today has leapt into the great blue yonder never to be seen again, and the prose was shurely comparable with Shakepeare.... she lied.
Happy belated birthday to Jac. I will note the date down. I will try harder next year.
So glad to hear the billi levels are finally dropping, it will be goods to hear you are now not pleasd with every pooy nappy and you are getting tired of him crying. Its lovely to see him dressed and looking more handsome in every photo. I love the outfits and his beautiful eye. Wish i could give him a cuddle. Have one for me Please! GA Kate xxxxx
