Best of the Best

We thought we'd share our best Christmas presents from 2006 with y'all. While there were a few lovely things to choose from (we were spoilt), the winners did stand out from the crowd...

Jo's is the "Great Writers" finger puppet set from Andrea and the kids. It includes squishy versions of Woolfe, Shakespeare, Tolstoy and Dickens (who are also magnetic and are now hanging out on our fridge). Inspiration at your finger tips!

Mine is the free standing hand-sewn CatRabbit toy that Jo had commissioned for me before she left! CatRabbit is an artist from Hobart who makes amazing toys, amongst other things. I called my kitty 'Duffle' and she hangs out in the lounge room with the playstation (she's very good at distracting you from the mess of cables). Briony has one of her kin, a white sheep, so she already has a date waiting for her in Tassie ^_^

Gone pretty quiet on this blog, hasn't it?

But we know you're there.

The catrabbit one is lovely - I got to meet him before he set off on the adventure. Purry liked him too!

Two posts in an hour after all that silence? I can't cope!

We're still here, ticking along happily. Had some major laptop issues, including a total reformat followed closely by a new hard-drive >_< So haven't really got back to the blog yet. Some new stuff on the way soon!

I just have to reinstall Picasa (shameless plug)

Picasa didn't seem to work with blogger-beta for me. Does it work now? I could reinstall it - but for now I think its banished from my computer!

Glad to hear you're still there even after computer issues... good thing you are a real person and existence isn't tied to a machine!

Great to see your Cat Rabbit toy! She's really cute, I love their little coats. Looking forward to seeing what she comes up with for her group show, The Great Cotton Battle. Opens this Friday!
