In transit

Jo is on her way! I spent the night/morning tracking the flight using a google earth mod. Very cool, just like being on the plane and watching that map that changes, like, every hour. Delays on either end of the LA flight so I think it turned into quite a long trip. Here's hoping the San Antonio legs is ok (less than 3 hours direct from LA). The weather here is clear, the big storms passed through last night.

Off to do some more tidying... A cover for nervous excitement :) Thanks for all the lovely emails!!

PS. I have some halloween pics that I'll backdate soon...

Thanks, Sydney baggage handlers! Jamie warned us of the delay after he had seen Jo's plane off. I'm sure he gave it an extra-special check. It was good to see "0 feet, 0 mph" on the Flyte Tracker webpage when AA Flight whatever it was finally arrived in San Antonio.

We were watching our Flight Tracker widget this morning and saw the AA flight slowly descending into San Antonio too. There were cheers all round when we saw the "Flight Landed" icon! Big hugs to the new arrival (and the excited Texan) :)

I am NOT a Texan!

Jo has arrived and is sound asleep. I hurt my back lugging an ENOURMOUS case up the stairs. However, all is well. The weather looks great for the rest of the week! Yay San Antonio.

I'm going to have to try and add Jo as a guest blogger so you can get her first impressions. Many more adventures to come!

Night all ^_^

Jo blogging sounds good - she has to do something with her time, and not sure your place will need a full time domestic person!!! I didn't have any flight tracker widgets (spent the afternoon naming parts of cadavers at 2 minute intervals) but was thinking about which flight would have landed and taken off all yesterday and today! Glad that the US security didn't change their mind for any reason and send Jo and her sweet smelling suitcase away. Can't wait for first impressions - after sleep!

Hey there Jacjac. Love to Jo. I'm in Halifax now - a beautiful little town that reminds me of Hobart. I'm not going to get to Texas this trip. Been flat out preparing for the Microcredit Summit which starts on Sunday. Bloody couriers wouldn't ship some of the lights we we're displaying at the summit, so Sam has flown from Melbourne to Halifax via China. As such, the summit has turned out to be an expensive event for Barefoot.

So glad Jo is there. I'll try and keep in contact a little better. No excuses.

Much love
